On Friday, April 24, Dipl.-Ing. Christian Bur has completed his dissertation, which was a joint project between the Applied Sensor Science group of Prof. Anita Lloyd Spetz, Linköping University, and the Lab for Measurement Technology at Saarland University. The cotutelle procedure, i.e. awarding a double degree from both universities, was made possible under the roof of the European Joint Doctoral Programme in Materials Science and Engineering (DocMASE).

Congratulations from the whole LMT-team!

Gutachter    Doktorhut

Prof. Anita Lloyd Spetz, Prof. Hans Arwin and Dr. Mike Andersson from Linköping University took part in the scientific colloquium at Saarland University together with Dr. Steven Semancik, NIST, who served as Faculty Opponent. The whole procedure was streamed live to Linköping, so that the defense of Christian's thesis could be observed there also.

The thesis entitled "Selectivity Enhancement of Gas Sensitive Field Effect Transistors by Dynamic Operation" is actually published twice: the Swedish version was already published prior to the defense, the German version will be published in a few weeks.
